Following yesterday’s interesting DJI Matrice 4T leak, another leak has surfaced, this time for the DJI Mavic 4 Pro. This latest insight gives us a second look at already seen key specs of DJI’s next-generation flagship consumer drone, further confirming what we’ve already come across in the past, as well as specs we haven’t seen before.
DJI Mavic 4 Pro specs
The leak, shared in a X post, lists out the following key specifications. Let’s break them down. This is the second time we have seen some of the camera specs leaked from two different sources, essentially confirming the ones we have already seen. As for the new leaks, they include:
- OcuSync 4+ (O4+)
- 52-minute flight time
- 1,045 grams (~2.30 pounds) weight
- Release date of April 2025
52-minute flight time
The 52-minute flight time is an impressive jump over the Mavic 3 Pro’s 43-minute flight time. Adding an extra 9 minutes of flight time for even less time on the ground and more impressive shots.
Stepless electronic ND filters
The stepless electronic ND Filters means no more switching ND filters out to ensure the best image quality. A nice touch for sure and will remove one more accessory to not forget when going out for a fly.
100MP image sensor
The inclusion of a 100MP sensor will be interesting to see. Adding more megapixels doesn’t always mean a better camera, while technically meaning a higher resolution, we are more interested in seeing the Mavic 4 Pro’s sensor size.

OcuSync 4+ (O4+)
As expected with a major drone launch from DJI, is for the company to release a new version of its image transmission technology. O4 currently allows the Air 3S to fly a maximum of 32km, 20km under the FCC.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the distance upped a little and a potential bump up in live view quality, maybe pushing the 4k/30fps live view on the DJI Inspire 3.
DJI RC 2
Including the DJI RC 2 with the Mavic 4 Pro makes sense. It’s DJI latest consumer remote controller with a built-in screen. It features a 5.5-inch 700-nit display, supports O4, and presumably O4+ when released. The RC 2 is a great controller.
1,045 grams (~2.30 pounds) weight
Coming in slightly heavier than the Mavic 3 Pro, 87 grams to be exact makes total sense. The camera on the Mavic 4 Pro looks to be larger than that on its predecessor, especially with the built-in ND filters and extra material required for a larger camera module.
The battery is also likely heavier than the Mavic 3 Pro’s, which hit the FCC in early December 2024. From the FCC listing we already know the Mavic 4 Pro’s battery has an increase in capacity of 5.4%.
Release date: April 2025
The DJI Mavic 4 Pro drone is rumored to be released in April 2025. as
Based on the fact that there is a FCC Filing as well as the increase in the frequency of leaks and rumors, we would not be surprised if the DJI Mavic 4 Pro hits the market even sooner than April.
New DJI Mavic 4 Pro image

A new image of the Mavic 4 Pro was also shared in the leak. This time looking to be a render of the drone with its name underneath. Very similar to how DJI shows off its drones in the DJI Fly App.
